Tech Data to Set Out its Cloud Practice Strategy at Cloud Summit in Venice  

 

Distributor will articulate how the meaning of value is changing and what it means for the channel at annual gathering of partners in Europe

 BARCELONA, Spain. (October 2, 2017) – Tech Data Corporation (Nasdaq: TECD) will set out its European strategy and plans to enable and support cloud solutions and service provider partners in moving to the next phase of their cloud practice development at its annual Cloud Summit, which takes place in Venice on October 3.

In the keynote addresses, Tech Data’s Reza Honarmand, vice president, Cloud, Europe and David Newbould, director, Cloud, Europe, will set out the company’s view of the current state of the market. They will explain how Tech Data provides partners with specialist knowledge and engagement in order to enable them to deliver stable platforms for the modern workplace, alongside advanced solutions and services that support the digital transformation of customers.

Tech Data’s end-to-end offering of cloud solutions and services enables partners to develop specialisation key next-generation technology segments such as advanced datacentre, enterprise security, business intelligence, cognitive computing and IoT.

Delegates at the Cloud Summit will hear presentations from, Victor Gureghian Baez, senior director, Worldwide Distribution and Indirect Channels for Microsoft; Roberto Zampese, business development manager, Oracle, Italy, and Raffele de Lucia, Watson leader, IBM Italy. There will also be a presentation on monetisation of IoT solutions from Victor Paradell, vice president, Tech Data Smart IoT and Analytics, Europe, at Tech Data.
