The GSMA today announced a strategic agreement between GSMA Foundry and Singapore's National University Health System (NUHS) to accelerate 5G- and AI-driven healthcare innovation.
As a GSMA member and NUHS's connectivity partner, Singtel is enabling this transformation through its advanced 5G standalone network, secure virtual private networks and network slicing capabilities, supporting critical applications such as immersive XR training, intelligent robotics and hospital-at-home models.
NUHS, Ericsson and Singtel will showcase connected health with a robot nurse companion, 3D holographic surgical planning and next-generation hospital-at-home technology at MWC26 Barcelona.
The partnership builds on NUHS's existing deployment of Singtel's private 5G network, which has been operational since August 2023 across operating theatres and inpatient wards. The network enables real-time data analytics and mixed-reality surgical planning, with over 30 surgeries already benefiting from the workflow.
