AtScale has been named an OpenAI Select Partner within the OpenAI Partner Network, a programme for firms that build, sell and deliver AI solutions with OpenAI. AtScale provides a universal semantic layer for enterprise AI and analytics.
The company says its role is to give OpenAI deployments shared business definitions, governed metric computation and query optimisation, so agents give consistent answers grounded in each business's own logic. That includes connecting Codex to AtScale's semantic layer so coding agents use established definitions in applications, dashboards and analytical workflows.
AtScale says its own research found leading AI models answered fewer than four in ten business questions correctly without a semantic layer. It plans to expand its OpenAI-related offerings, work with OpenAI on go-to-market initiatives and add AI-assisted semantic modelling and accuracy evaluation.
Chris Lynch, CEO of AtScale, said: “Enterprise AI is moving from experimentation into everyday business decisions, and enterprises cannot have every agent inventing its own version of revenue, margin, or churn.”
Jay Schuren, President of AtScale, said: “When a coding agent builds a dashboard, it should use the same definition of revenue the CFO signs off on.”
The announcement was made on 20 October 2026.
