Communicate Technology, a leading managed service provider specialising in cybersecurity and IT network solutions, has appointed Paul Bryce as group CEO as the company celebrates exceptional 102% year-on-year growth.
The appointment comes following the successful integration of Blaze Networks last year and strategic investment from private equity firm Rockpool in 2024, positioning Communicate for its next phase of expansion.
Bryce brings over 30 years of experience in the MSP sector, most notably as a founding member of Node4, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the business from startup to a 1,100-person organisation generating £190 million in revenue. During his tenure, he was actively involved in 10 acquisitions and three private equity investment rounds.
"This is an exciting time to join the Communicate team, as it looks to continue its growth journey," said Bryce. "My focus will be on scaling with purpose by shaping strategy, strengthening culture, and promoting an environment where our teams and customers can thrive."
The leadership transition sees founder Tony Snaith stepping back from the CEO role to become a non-executive director, remaining on the board to support the company's strategic direction.
"Paul joins us at a pivotal moment in our evolution, and his significant track record of successfully leading organisations through high-growth phases gives us complete confidence he will steer the business smoothly into our next chapter," commented Snaith.
Looking ahead to 2026, Communicate plans to continue scaling its core networks business, focusing on delivering secure, intelligent, multi-site connectivity solutions for organisations operating across distributed locations and hybrid working environments.
The company's strategy will be underpinned by expanded security capabilities, including the ongoing development of its Security Operations Centre (SOC) services, SASE (Secure Access Service Edge), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) offerings.
Founded in 2011, Communicate operates its own fibre network infrastructure and maintains a national presence across the UK with offices in Teesside, Leeds, York, Macclesfield, and Kent, providing 24/7/365 network and security operations to clients nationwide.
