Kingsbridge brings in Godel to rebuild its IR35 platform with agentic engineering

Kingsbridge, the specialist IR35 and insurance provider, is working with agentic engineering company Godel on the next generation of its IR35 platform, which supports more than 8,000 contractors, recruiters and end clients across the UK.

Godel is applying Godel Factory, its approach to AI-assisted engineering, to speed up development while keeping the security, governance and oversight expected of a regulated compliance platform. The project uses Claude Code through Microsoft Foundry inside Kingsbridge's existing Azure environment.

Kingsbridge, part of the Ignyte Insurance portfolio, first built its IR35 status determination tool in 2020, ahead of the IR35 reforms. The tool establishes whether an engagement falls inside or outside IR35 and supports the compliance officers who evidence those decisions. The new work extends Godel's existing relationships across the wider Ignyte portfolio.

Andy Robinson, Managing Director at Kingsbridge, said: “Working with Godel gives us an opportunity to explore how agentic engineering can accelerate that development while maintaining the security, governance and rigour that are essential when dealing with compliance.”

Godel describes Godel Factory as an answer for organisations that want to replace loose AI pilots with disciplined delivery and measurable progress. Joe Wolski, CTO at Godel, said: “Godel Factory brings agentic engineers together with the governance and transparency a regulated market requires, so a business-critical platform can be rebuilt at pace without loosening control.”
