TeamViewer Tia Reporting AI Dashboards
TeamViewer Natural Language Dashboards

Most IT departments have more data than they know what to do with. Device telemetry, application performance metrics, employee experience signals: the raw material for informed decisions sits in platforms that require specialist knowledge to query. The people closest to the problems rarely have direct access to the answers.

TeamViewer's response, unveiled at the Gartner Digital Workplace Summit in San Diego, is Tia Reporting, a conversational AI capability within its Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platform. The premise is straightforward: type a question in plain English, get a live dashboard back. No query language, no BI team dependency, no ticket in the queue.

IT teams are accountable for outcomes they have historically struggled to measure with speed and confidence. Tia Reporting changes that dynamic. It democratizes access to insight, empowering every IT professional to create their own reports and dashboards without relying on analysts or BI teams.

Built on proprietary DEX telemetry

The capability draws on TeamViewer's proprietary DEX data layer, spanning device health, application performance and employee experience indicators. Administrators can adjust filters, timeframes and visualisations through a no-code interface, drilling into issues without switching tools or waiting for a scheduled report cycle.

TeamViewer framed the launch alongside a new global brand campaign, "Fix it before they feel it," which signals the company's broader ambitions in Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM), due to launch this summer. Tia Reporting sits in that trajectory: the shift from reactive troubleshooting to proactive operations, where IT teams spot degradation before end users notice it.

Competitive context

Natural language interfaces for data are not new territory. Microsoft, ServiceNow and others have been building similar capabilities into their platforms. TeamViewer's differentiator is the specificity of its data set; Tia Reporting queries DEX telemetry directly rather than connecting to external data warehouses, which should mean faster results within that domain but limited utility outside it.

TeamViewer currently serves more than 635,000 customers globally and reported revenue of approximately EUR 768 million in 2025.
