Salesforce says Agentforce Coworker usage is up 21x in three months, and sets a $50 per user price

Salesforce has expanded Agentforce Coworker, its AI assistant that plans the steps for a job and coordinates Agentforce agents and workflows to do it. The company says usage has grown 21x in three months and that more than 185,000 users now work with it, with customers including The Adecco Group, Fulton Bank and BACA Systems expanding their use.

Pricing is now $50 per user per month. New in this release are Skills, which turn a proven workflow into a one-line request anyone on a team can run, and Conversation History, which lets users carry on a conversation across Salesforce, Teams and the new apps. Scheduled tasks arrive in December.

Coworker can now take jobs from inside Microsoft Teams, and new Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 connections let it combine email, calendars and files with Salesforce data when it builds a meeting brief or renewal plan. New iOS, Mac and Windows apps let users delegate from a laptop and approve results from a phone.

Salesforce says Coworker works inside its existing security and governance framework, using employee permissions, sharing rules and configured access controls, with approval and audit capabilities for supported operations.

"It's about giving them one Coworker that brings the right agents together to get work done," said James Nakashima, SVP, Product Management at Salesforce, of the aim to stop users juggling a growing menu of agents.
