Proact Confirms Åsa Regen Jansson as Permanent CFO After Nine Months in the Role

Proact IT Group has appointed Åsa Regen Jansson as CFO of the group, moving her from an interim mandate she has held since December 2025 into the permanent position from 1 September 2026.

The appointment ends a nine-month interim period. Regen Jansson joined Proact from the airline sector — most recently as CFO of Braathens Regional Airlines — and brings a background in senior finance leadership to a company whose commercial footprint has grown well beyond its Nordic roots.

Proact is Nasdaq Stockholm-listed under the ticker PACT and describes itself as a European technology company selling secure, sovereign and resilient hybrid-cloud solutions to organisations running critical business and societal data infrastructure. It operates in twelve countries with around 1,100 staff and more than 2,000 active customers — a scale that puts the CFO role at the intersection of a hybrid-cloud growth story and the regulatory and sovereignty pressures now shaping European technology procurement.

"Åsa knows our business well and has earned strong trust both within Proact and among our owners and analysts. She combines commercial acumen with the leadership required to contribute to Proact's continued development and profitable growth. Appointing Åsa as permanent CFO was therefore a natural decision."

Magnus Lönn, President and CEO, Proact IT Group

For observers of the European hybrid-cloud market, the substantive read is continuity. Proact is not switching direction; it is confirming the finance lead who has been steering through a period in which cyber-security, AI-driven data growth and regulatory compliance have all reshaped how customers buy from vendors like it.
