Precisely unveils a unified data management platform for AI, in preview until early 2027

Precisely has announced the Precisely Platform, a data management product that pulls data integration, quality, governance, location intelligence, master data management and customer communications onto a single metadata and semantic layer. It is in preview and due to be generally available in early 2027.

Precisely argues that AI agents act on whatever data they are given, so inconsistent governance that people used to catch by hand now flows into autonomous decisions. Precisely says the platform manages data where it lives, across cloud, lakehouses, on-premises systems, mainframe and SAP, without migration to one ecosystem. Rules, definitions and policies are set once and applied across capabilities, and each data asset can carry quality and governance scores.

Embedded AI generates quality rules, does intelligent matching and recommends enrichment. Built-in enrichment offers hundreds of pre-linked datasets, plus address verification and geocoding. An assistant called Gio, along with APIs, SDKs and a command-line interface, exposes the platform inside existing tools, and new Model Context Protocol servers connect Precisely products to MCP-compatible clients such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT. Precisely also released AI Studio, a collection of ready-made apps, agents and skills.

Matt Waxman, chief product officer at Precisely, said: “Agents don't stop to question the data they're given. They act on it at scale, far faster than people can catch and correct errors.”

Precisely says more than 12,000 organisations use its products.
