Leaseweb and ITQ team up on VMware Cloud Foundation delivery across Europe

Two years after Broadcom completed its VMware acquisition, the reverberations through Europe's VCSP partner ecosystem continue. ITQ, a VMware advisory and professional services firm with offices across eight European countries, has selected Leaseweb as its exclusive infrastructure partner for VMware Cloud Foundation services.

The arrangement covers all of ITQ's Broadcom VMware VCSP partners in Europe, providing continuity for organisations whose market offering depends on VMware running as a cloud service, and a structured path for those planning to build out VCF 9.x strategies.

The timing reflects Leaseweb's own trajectory. Earlier this week the company confirmed its status as a VMware VCSP Pinnacle Partner — the highest tier in Broadcom's certification programme — giving customers and resellers formal assurance of its position within the new Broadcom structure. The combination of ITQ's advisory expertise and Leaseweb's sovereign infrastructure is designed to meet European data sovereignty and compliance requirements without routing workloads through non-European jurisdictions.

"VMware Cloud Foundation represents the future of private cloud infrastructure, and this partnership ensures our customers have access to it through an authorised and sovereign hybrid cloud solution. ITQ's expertise in VMware environments is widely recognised, and their decision to select us as their exclusive VCF infrastructure partner reflects the strength of our expertise and commitment to excellence."

Francisco Perez van der Oord, Founder and President of ITQ, framed the partnership as a safe harbour for partners navigating renewal uncertainty:

"We are partnering with Leaseweb for all Broadcom VMware VCSP partners in Europe. Our combination of knowledge, expertise and scalable IaaS platforms is truly unique. Together we offer a safe haven for all non-renewing Broadcom VMware VCSP partners seeking continuity in their market offering, and all parties looking to build out VMware VCF 9.x and their VMware Cloud Foundation Strategy."
