The proposal substitutes time as the guiding variable for semiconductor and electronic system design in place of the geometric transistor shrinking that defined Moore's Law for six decades.
Under He Tingbo's leadership over the past decade, HiSilicon developed several products that now underpin Huawei's AI computing position: the Ascend AI accelerators, Kunpeng server processors, and UnifiedBus-enabled SuperPoD systems.
