Nation-state cyber attacks are increasingly augmented by artificial intelligence, and the conventional model of detecting and responding to breaches after they occur is under growing pressure. Two firms are attempting to get ahead of that curve with a new partnership focused on pre-emptive defence.

Blackwired, a cybersecurity firm specialising in 3D threat visualisation, and ARMIS International, a veteran-led strategic consulting consortium, have formed an alliance to deliver proactive cyber protection to government, defence and critical national infrastructure clients.

The arrangement pairs ARMIS International’s established relationships across government and defence sectors with Blackwired’s ThirdWatch platform. ThirdWatch uses three-dimensional threat mapping and a methodology the company calls Aim-Ready-Fire (ARFi) to identify and address threats before they reach their targets. ARMIS International contributes operational crisis experience and frameworks for decision-makers in mission-critical environments.

Together, we can fill major gaps in operational requirements within government special access programmes, military elements and critical national infrastructure.

The partnership will initially target government and defence clients, with plans to extend into the commercial sector.
