Specialist networking systems integrator, Axians Networks Limited, part of VINCI Energies UK & RoI is delighted to announce the appointment of Russell Crampin as its new UK Managing Director with immediate effect.

Russell will build upon Axians Networks’ service and delivery excellence by shaping and developing solutions to enable customers to maximise new market opportunities. Russell will head up Axians Networks’ board of directors and report into Axians’ Executive Chairman, Rochdi Ziyat, who is also CEO of VINCI Energies UK & RoI.
Russell joins from Logicalis, where he held the position of Sales Director. With over eighteen years multidisciplinary experience in the technology market, Russell is a seasoned industry figure holding director and senior management roles in sales, operations, business transformation and service delivery.
Commenting on the new appointment, Rochdi Ziyat, Executive Chairman at Axians Networks said: “Russell brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in delivering business value to customers’ ustilising innovative solutions. His industry experience and commercial acumen is an invaluable asset as we look to re-affirm Axians as the ‘go to network partner’ of choice for the Service Provider and Research and Education sectors. I am confident that Russell has the right pedigree to lead Axians on the next important phase of our journey.”

Russell graduated from the University of Exeter with a degree in Mathematical and Computer Science.
