After a bit of a lull over the summer vacation months, there were numerous influencers that made a real return to form in September. Therefore for the first time there was an incredible overlap between the main top 10 and the top ten bursters.

Microsoft’s Satya Nadella and Scott Guthrie topped both rankings. Also in both the main top ten and the top ten bursters were Aaron Levie, Robert Faletra, Matthew Prince and Bill Ruh. Apple’s Tim Cook, who was just outside the main top ten, made it into the top ten bursters.Â
Then came Amit Zavery who was publicising the two new additions to Oracle’s cloud platform for integration – Oracle SOA Cloud and Oracle API Manager Cloud Services. These new offerings join its other iPaaS services, including Oracle Integration Cloud which was announced in June. Also commenting on these Oracle announcements was Ravi Gade, senior director of IT Applications at Calix, a supplier of telecommunications access equipment for service providers.Â

In the UK ranking, Tom Reuner from analyst firm HfS Research was quoted widely on the evolving competitive dynamics on the IT services sector. Simon Porter recovers ground to climb back up to 2nd and Donal Daly, Founder & CEO at Data Wranglers Ltd makes a first appearance in the rankings at 3rd.
