Group-IB has been named a Leader in the inaugural Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cyberthreat Intelligence Technologies, one of five vendors awarded that status from an evaluated field of eighteen as Gartner formally recognises threat intelligence as a distinct market category.
The first-ever Gartner evaluation of this market assessed vendors across completeness of vision and ability to execute. Gartner's report highlights Group-IB's verticalized intelligence as a key strength — specifically the platform's combination of dark web and closed criminal group access, incident response validation, proprietary fraud telemetry, and BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) threat monitoring capabilities. These give the company particular depth in financial services, telecommunications, and government and law enforcement sectors.
Also noted in the report: the breadth and cost predictability of Group-IB's Unified Risk Platform, which spans threat intelligence, fraud detection, Managed XDR, sandboxing, and investigations at enterprise scale with unlimited users, APIs, hunting rules, and takedowns under a consolidated model.
Group-IB's Cyber Fraud Fusion model, which integrates fraud intelligence with threat intelligence at the data layer, addresses a convergence its own research has been tracking. The company's High-Tech Crime Trends report documents ransomware groups and fraud ecosystems increasingly sharing infrastructure — making the siloed security and fraud team model structurally inadequate for organisations operating in high-risk sectors.
"Being named a Leader in the first-ever Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Cyberthreat Intelligence Technologies is a milestone for Group-IB, and a validation of the direction we have taken since 2003. Cybersecurity can no longer be reactive, and organizations need adversary-centric, predictive intelligence from unique threat intelligence sources that helps them anticipate attacks before they materialize. This recognition reflects the strength of our Unified Risk Platform, the depth of our proprietary telemetry, and the expertise of our global teams who work every day to help customers, partners, and law enforcement stay ahead of cybercriminals," said Dmitry Volkov, CEO of Group-IB.
Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Singapore, Group-IB operates 11 Digital Crime Resistance Centers globally and has conducted more than 1,500 joint investigations with agencies including INTERPOL, Europol, and AFRIPOL. The Unified Risk Platform draws on 21 years of proprietary telemetry.
