The model's reasoning for Data Entry Clerk focused on the nature of the work itself: most daily tasks involve moving text and numbers between documents and databases, and low software deployment costs mean the business case for automation is already clear in many organisations.
Telemarketers ranked second, with AI citing advances in voice generation technology and the scripted structure of most calls. Customer Service Representatives (Tier 1) came third on the basis that large language models can access internal company data and handle the repetitive categories of customer query that make up the bulk of first-line ticket volume.
Bookkeepers placed fourth, with the model noting that ledger reconciliation and expense sorting can, or will soon, be fully automated without human error. Proofreaders came fifth, with grammar and structure analysis models increasingly available at low cost. Paralegals in document review roles ranked sixth, with AI highlighting the ability to scan contracts and case files at a speed no human team could match.
The remaining four positions went to Commodity Content Writers (seventh), Market Research Analysts (eighth), Retail Cashiers (ninth, with AI noting the cost of storefront infrastructure changes limits near-term displacement), and Commercial Translators (tenth), where the model noted that corporate and technical document translation is already being processed by advanced language models, with the human role reducing to proofreading.
Richy George, Chief Revenue Officer of IT-AMG, commented on the results: "What's interesting is how fast the middle layer of corporate data management is shrinking. Data Entry ranking top shows that pure information transfer may no longer be a viable human career path. Creative and legal professionals might also be surprised to find content writers and paralegals ranking so high in the top ten, ahead of traditional manual labor roles."
