CMC Networks and AVANT tie up to give enterprises a single path into 64 MEA markets

CMC Networks has linked its AI-enabled pan-African connectivity infrastructure with AVANT Communications' US-based channel partner platform, giving AVANT's network of enterprise advisors access to CMC's 64-market footprint in Africa and the Middle East through a single sourcing relationship.

The deal addresses a specific friction point in enterprise regional expansion: companies moving into African and Middle Eastern growth markets typically encounter fragmented infrastructure, thin local support, and service quality that varies sharply across national boundaries. CMC, which has been operating in the region for more than 35 years, offers direct-on-the-ground presence across MEA paired with an AI-based operations layer (AIOps) that handles real-time monitoring, predictive analytics and service delivery automation.

CMC's Managing Director Mahesh Jaishankar put a number on the AI operations claim: AIOps has reduced customers' mean time to repair by over 40%, a figure he expects to improve as the system accumulates more customer and network data.

For AVANT's side, the arrangement expands what it can offer its Trusted Advisors — the channel partners who use its Pathfinder decision-support platform to spec and price enterprise connectivity. CMC's portfolio covers DIA, MPLS, SD-WAN, Ethernet, satellite and IaaS, backed by local staff in each of its 64 markets. AVANT's network of advisors and enterprise buyers can now access that suite directly through AVANT's platform.

The partnership is effective immediately and positions CMC inside a US-based distributor ecosystem that extends across enterprise and mid-market buyers.

Our partnership with AVANT enables enterprises to use AIOps to improve performance, reduce downtime, and ensure superior user experience across MEA. CMC's thorough adoption of AIOps has reduced our customers' MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) by over 40%. This result keeps improving as the AI engine learns more and more about our customers and our network.

Mahesh Jaishankar (Managing Director, CMC Networks)
