Peter Grimmond

As Veritas’ Head of Technology Sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Peter is responsible for leading the technical engagement with Veritas’ customers and partners. He leads a team of over 160 technical specialists who work throughout the solution lifecycle: driving awareness of Veritas’ capabilities, understanding customers’ requirements, scoping solutions based on Veritas’ products and services and supporting Veritas’ customers and partners in fully realising the value from their Veritas investment. Peter is also responsible for the technical interlock between the EMEA field organisation and Veritas’ product management and engineering teams. Prior to his current role, Peter ran the Technology Sales team in the UK & Ireland and, before that, worked for over 15 years as part of Veritas Global Services. As Technical Director for the EMEA Consulting Organisation, Peter was responsible for setting the organisation’s strategy, as well as for service development, capability management, business development and supervision of service delivery activities. Peter has led major information resiliency and IT infrastructure projects with numerous high-profile clients in financial services, telecommunications and industrials. He has a wide knowledge of IT infrastructure solutions, as well as experience in ITIL-based IT Service Management and in the management of large IT change projects.
