Doug Cutting

Doug Cutting, Founder of Hadoop and Chief Architect at Cloudera Doug is the founder of several successful open source projects, including Lucene, Nutch, Avro, and Hadoop. Doug joined Cloudera in 2009, after previously working at Yahoo!, Excite, Apple, and Xerox PARC. Doug holds a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and is the former Chairman of the Board of the Apache Software Foundation.
