Sage X3 adds Copilot AI across manufacturing and distribution workflows as cloud delivery option launches in UK and US

The updates target manufacturers and distributors who have accumulated data across inventory, purchasing, production, finance, and supply chains but struggle to act on it quickly. Sage Copilot — the company's in-workflow AI assistant — now surfaces insights and flags risks across sales, finance, inventory, and operations, with decisions and approvals remaining with human users.

Sage X3 SaaS, available now in the UK and United States with global rollout planned, transfers infrastructure management, security, and update cycles to Sage. The aim is to reduce the administrative burden on IT teams while keeping customers on current versions without managed migration projects.

For manufacturers, Sage is deepening its integration with Lynq for production visibility, available in the US, Canada, South Africa, Australia, and the UK. In France, Sage has introduced AI-powered e-invoicing to support compliance with evolving digital invoicing regulations, connected through Sage Platform.

"Manufacturers and distributors are operating in increasingly complex environments where decisions need to be made quickly. While businesses are rapidly embracing AI, many still need greater confidence in the insights it provides. By embedding AI and operational intelligence directly into Sage X3, we're helping customers identify risks earlier, improve planning and make better decisions while maintaining the visibility and control they need to run their operations."Rob Sinfield, SVP ERP, Sage

The announcement builds on an AI vision Sage presented at its Sage Future conference earlier this year.

"I'm really excited about what Sage X3 is doing to embed AI into complex processes, making it simpler so that organizations can scale faster. What stands out about Sage's approach is the focus on embedding intelligence directly into the workflows organizations already rely on every day. By combining trusted AI with deep operational capabilities, Sage is helping manufacturers and distributors make more informed decisions and adapt more quickly to change."Seth Ellertson, CRO, Net At Work

Sage is listed on the FTSE under ticker SGE.
