Oxylabs, Decodo, Webshare, Honeygain and ScrapingBee have been brought together under one name, Source, as demand across the group from AI agents and frontier AI products rose four-fold over the past year.
The Vilnius-based group announced the launch on 13 October. Its brands keep operating independently. The ecosystem grew out of Oxylabs over more than a decade through product development, acquisitions and investments, and it reached a $3.6 billion valuation after a $130 million Warburg Pincus investment this year.
Source said its distributed systems now process 1.5 million requests per second, and that it is expanding its indexing work to build web search APIs for AI agents. The group employs 800 people across Europe, the United States and Asia, including more than 350 developers and engineers, and holds more than 180 patents and 215 trademarks.
The use cases it cites run from live search and data for AI agents to market data for trading decisions at Fortune 500 companies, and from cybersecurity firms protecting critical infrastructure to governments detecting illegal content and online fraud. Nonprofits use the data to monitor disinformation.
Vytautas Savickas, CEO of Source, said: “The modern world runs on data, and autonomous agents are now speeding up innovation across every sector.” He added that the new name gives the group “a unified voice in defending responsible access to public web data”.
Each brand targets a different customer: Oxylabs serves enterprises and AI labs, Decodo the mid-market, ScrapingBee developers through APIs, Webshare prosumers, and Honeygain consumers who share spare bandwidth.
