NTN Corporation, a Japanese precision equipment manufacturer with operations spanning 200 countries, has completed a cloud migration of its global e-commerce platform with Infosys, swapping out an on-premise SAP Commerce installation for SAP Commerce Cloud 2211.
The platform in question is e-WINGS, NTN's customer-facing commerce system. The migration was delivered using Infosys Cobalt, the company's cloud services suite, and its SAP Commerce implementation practice. Automated version control replaced the manual overhead of on-premise release management, and Infosys says daily operational reliability improved alongside cost efficiencies enabled by cloud adoption.
NTN Corporation is among the world's leading manufacturers of precision bearings and has long run SAP systems across its global footprint. Moving e-WINGS to the cloud-hosted tier gives the company access to SAP's managed update cycles, reducing the engineering burden of keeping legacy customisations compatible with core upgrades.

For Infosys, the deal extends its Japan portfolio at a time when the company is actively expanding its regional presence. The Indian technology services firm positions this engagement as evidence of its ability to manage complex SAP transformations without disrupting business continuity.
