i-PRO, the Japanese security and public safety camera manufacturer, has appointed Steve Riley as President of EMEA, creating a new senior leadership tier above its existing commercial structure as the regional business continues to scale.
Riley brings more than 25 years of experience in electronic security, access control, fire safety and related technology sectors. His most recent role was Global Division Director, PAC GDX at Comelit Group, where he led the company's integrated access control and security division. Prior to that, he held senior positions at Stanley Security and ADT across EMEA, APAC and global markets.
The appointment creates a division of responsibilities at the top of i-PRO EMEA: Riley takes ownership of regional strategy, organisational development, governance and broader business leadership, while Jose Riolobos continues as Vice President of Sales, EMEA, focused on customer and partner engagement and sales growth. The split reflects a company at a size where operational and commercial leadership are complex enough to warrant dedicated attention.
i-PRO Co., Ltd. was spun out of Panasonic's security business in 2019. It manufactures edge computing cameras for security, safety and medical applications and has built its current product line around AI-enabled image recognition, cybersecurity and open-platform integration.
"EMEA is a key growth region for i-PRO, and Steve's appointment reflects our ambition to build on the strong momentum we have already achieved," said Masato Nakao, CEO of i-PRO. "With his extensive industry experience and proven track record of leading international security businesses, Steve will further strengthen the operational capabilities of i-PRO EMEA's business functions. Working alongside Jose and the broader team, Steve will help accelerate the organization's growth, strengthen our regional capabilities, and support the next phase of business expansion across the region."
