The ThinkAgile VX850 V4 is purpose-built for highly virtualised environments and workloads that require significant in-memory capacity. It supports both structured and unstructured data and is designed to consolidate critical workloads while creating headroom for AI integration as it becomes more embedded in enterprise applications.
On the services side, Lenovo is reorganising its deployment offering into three tiers: Standard Deploy, Premier Deploy, and Premier Deploy Plus. Standard Deploy provides a structured readiness foundation and hardware installation. Premier Deploy adds implementation support and operational handoff for more complex projects. Premier Deploy Plus extends this further with post-deployment assistance and a one-year infrastructure health assessment.
The expanded Lenovo Express Solutions add validated configuration paths across Microsoft Hyper-V, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualisation, Microsoft Azure Local on ThinkAgile MX V4, Nutanix Cloud Platform on ThinkSystem, and SUSE Virtualisation. These are pre-integrated configurations tested against specific software platforms, which Lenovo positions as an alternative to customers integrating components independently.

"Lenovo is helping customers modernise the infrastructure they rely on today with greater choice and control, while building an AI-ready foundation that can evolve as their requirements change."
Matt Eastwood, senior vice president at IDC's Enterprise Infrastructure and Datacenter Group, framed the approach in market terms. "Modernisation is an in-place initiative; it does not require starting over," he said. "Together, these capabilities provide a flexible infrastructure foundation for traditional enterprise, cloud-native, and AI-native workloads and emerging business use cases, allowing organisations to modernise incrementally while maintaining control over how and where workloads and data are deployed."
The VX850 V4 and updated deployment tiers are available now. Lenovo is a US$83 billion revenue business, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
