Santa Clara, 19 March 2026 — Ampere Computing has announced expanded Arm-based cloud availability across Europe, with both hyperscale and regional providers deploying infrastructure based on AmpereOne and AmpereOne M processors.
Oracle is launching A4 Ampere-based instances in London and Frankfurt using AmpereOne M processors. Among regional providers, Scaleway is introducing AmpereOne instances across its European data centres in France and the Netherlands. Sweden's Glesys is rolling out AmpereOne servers initially as hardware-as-a-service, with cloud-based services planned later this year. Switzerland's C41.ch is expanding with AmpereOne instances. Hetzner is qualifying AmpereOne for availability later in 2026. CloudSigma is adding Token-as-a-Service and Model-as-a-Service powered by AmpereOne M to its AI-as-a-Service portfolio.
Additional partners deploying Ampere infrastructure include Ionos, Gcore, Leaseweb and Infomaniak.
The expansion responds to growing European demand for sovereign cloud infrastructure that meets data residency requirements. According to Grandview Research, Europe's sovereign cloud market is projected to exceed €100 billion by 2030. Arm-based processors offer a common compute foundation that allows providers to deliver services within diverse compliance frameworks while maintaining competitive power efficiency.
This expansion marks a pivotal moment for cloud infrastructure in the region, empowering European organisations with unparalleled choice for exact needs.
