ZoomMate launched today and is available for North American online and direct customers at $20 per user per month, with EMEA and APAC availability expected later this year. The product connects meeting transcripts and live conversational context to a range of third-party enterprise systems — Salesforce, Jira, Slack, ServiceNow, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Google Drive, and SharePoint among them — and can update records, trigger workflows, and generate documents without the user leaving Zoom.
Three capability clusters define the product. An agentic search layer pulls relevant information from connected systems into conversation context before and during meetings. An orchestration layer identifies next steps from meeting transcripts and initiates follow-up actions across integrated apps. A content creation layer turns the post-meeting record into finished deliverables: presentations in Zoom Slides, spreadsheets in Zoom Sheets, project plans in Zoom Canvas.
Russell Dicker, Zoom's chief product officer, framed the launch as the execution of a product thesis: "What drew me to Zoom was a simple truth: no other company sits where Zoom sits - at the center of every conversation where work decisions get made. ZoomMate is built on this insight. Before, during, and after the meeting, ZoomMate connects what was decided to what needs to happen next across every system where your work lives."
The live-context angle is what distinguishes ZoomMate from document-indexing AI search tools, according to Melody Brue, vice president and principal analyst at Moor Insights and Strategy: "Many AI offerings operate on the edges of work, with limited access to the real-time context affecting decisions. ZoomMate approaches this differently because it sits inside the conversations where those decisions unfold. This can give it live business context and help make its recommendations more grounded in the work that teams are actually doing."
ZoomMate ships alongside Zoom's AI Productivity Suite, which packages Zoom Canvas (formerly Zoom Docs), Zoom Slides, Zoom Sheets, and Zoom Paper as a unified offering. Both products are available today in North America.
