Version 1 acquires CreateFuture to build a 4,250-person AI services group with €500m revenues

Version 1, the Dublin-headquartered AI and digital transformation consultancy, has agreed to acquire CreateFuture, a 550-person technology services firm focused on iGaming, financial services, and utilities. The combined business will employ 4,250 people and exceed €500 million in annual revenue.

The deal, announced on 30 April, adds CreateFuture's regulated-sector delivery capacity to Version 1's existing public and private sector client base. Financial terms were not disclosed.

CreateFuture positions itself as a practitioner-led, AI-native partner to large enterprise clients. Its concentration in iGaming distinguishes it from most of Version 1's prior M&A, which has focused on public sector digital transformation in Ireland and the UK. The acquisition also extends Version 1's presence in financial services and utilities.

"This acquisition is a strong strategic fit for Version 1, strengthening our capabilities and expanding the markets we serve," said Roop Singh, Chief Executive Officer at Version 1. "CreateFuture is an exceptional business, with high-calibre people and deep client relationships in complex, regulated environments."

The merged entity's scale — four-plus thousand staff across a combined €500m revenue base — places it among the larger mid-market AI services businesses in the UK and Ireland. Version 1 has grown substantially through acquisition over the past several years; CreateFuture represents its latest move to extend reach into private sector verticals where AI-driven compliance and operational precision carry significant commercial weight.
