T-Mobile sweeps all 13 categories in P3's Q2 2026 US mobile network benchmark

Independent telecoms consultancy P3 has awarded T-Mobile its Mobile Network Test Champion title for the second quarter of 2026, with the carrier topping all 13 benchmark categories in a study drawing on more than two billion network samples collected between April and June.

T-Mobile’s overall score of 8,274 out of 10,000 points led on consumer and industry experience, voice, data, media, coverage, urban and non-urban performance, reliability, and two categories new to the 2026 methodology: AI-Readiness Champion and AI-Services Champion.

The AI-readiness rankings reflect P3’s view that low latency, strong uplink performance and consistent reliability are becoming prerequisites as AI applications grow in daily use. P3 CEO Hakan Ekmen said the result demonstrates T-Mobile is “successfully building the foundation for AI-Readiness of networks.”

P3 describes its benchmarking methodology as the industry standard for network quality and customer experience measurement. The Q2 2026 dataset is among the most extensive the firm has published for the US market.
