The restructuring adds three executives to SUSE's senior ranks. Jeff Paul joins as general manager of the Americas, responsible for long-term regional strategy; he brings more than 20 years of enterprise software leadership from WSO2, Red Hat, Intel, and IBM. Tina Steincke joins as vice president of North America sales, taking responsibility for regional field execution and customer delivery, and also brings more than two decades of IT leadership from Red Hat and IBM.
Musters, who has led SUSE's EMEA business, moves to a global sales role. His appointment as CSO consolidates global sales execution under one leader at a time when the company is pushing its digital sovereignty and AI-ready infrastructure positioning more aggressively against Red Hat.
SUSE's success has always been rooted in providing customers with true choice and the digital sovereignty they need to innovate
SUSE competes primarily in enterprise Linux, Kubernetes, and edge infrastructure, and describes its differentiation as an alternative to vendor lock-in. The Americas consolidation reduces operational complexity as the company tries to bring a more consistent customer experience across a region where enterprise open source adoption varies significantly between North and Latin American markets.
SUSE is headquartered in Luxembourg.
