The offering is available immediately through the STACKIT Marketplace across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, and the UK, with CBTW services available throughout the EU.
The three partners divide the work by their respective specialisms. SAS contributes SAS Viya, its cloud-native platform for developing and deploying AI and analytics. CBTW serves as a SAS delivery, reselling, and managed services partner, handling implementation and ongoing management. Schwarz Digits provides STACKIT, the cloud platform of the retail and technology group Schwarz.
SAS Viya runs on a cloud-agnostic architecture, which means it can run on Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services as well as STACKIT. The STACKIT deployment adds European data storage and full compliance with European data protection standards, and is intended to give businesses certainty about meeting current and future regulatory requirements in a market where rules on AI and data handling are still evolving.
John Carey, Senior Vice President of Global Channels at SAS, said: "Through CBTW and STACKIT, we provide SMB customers with both: proven enterprise AI and the assurance that their data never leaves Europe."
Paolo Lèon Vacilotto, Head of AI and Data Platforms at CBTW, said: "Mid-sized businesses need solutions they can understand, purchase, and deploy immediately, without months-long implementation projects. That is exactly what this collaboration delivers."
