ShareFile Enterprise adds automated access management via SCIM provisioning with Microsoft Entra ID, native data loss prevention, SIEM integration with Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel, and AI-driven behavioural analytics that surfaces unusual activity patterns. The DLP, behavioural analytics, and a centralised security operations view are available from 1 October 2026.
The product targets a problem Progress describes as sensitive document collaboration scaling faster than the controls built to govern it. As organisations grow, more people interact with confidential information while IT teams typically rely on manual provisioning, disconnected monitoring, and fragmented anomaly investigation. The result is growing operational overhead without a corresponding improvement in security.
One of the new customers quoted in the announcement, Keel Point, said ShareFile gives their team the controls and governance needed for client document workflows. Progress says the platform allows organisations to scale document collaboration without scaling manual administration alongside it.
