HONOR launched the Magic V6 in the United Kingdom on 2 July 2026, pricing it at £1,499 — a £500 below the £1,999 RRP available at selected retailers — and positioning it against Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold range with a thinner hinge, a larger battery, and an emphasis on AI-driven multitasking across Apple and Android ecosystems.
The device measures 8.75 mm folded and 4.0 mm unfolded in its white colour variant, making it among the thinnest foldables in its class. HONOR says the hinge, built from a 2800 MPa-rated steel alloy, is rated for 200,000 folds. The inner display uses ultra-thin glass and the outer screen features an anti-scratch nano-crystal coating; both meet IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.
Power comes from Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform. The 6,660 mAh silicon-carbon battery is the largest installed in a foldable smartphone to date, charging at 80W wired and 66W wireless; HONOR is also including reverse wireless charging.
The camera system comprises a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto and a 50-megapixel ultrawide, all running HONOR's AI imaging pipeline. On the software side, MagicOS 10 introduces what the company calls HONOR AI Agents — automation tools designed to execute tasks across the device without continuous user input. Multi-Flex and Fast Flex modes let users split and anchor applications across the inner display for document-heavy or research workflows.
Cross-ecosystem connectivity is the commercial differentiator HONOR is leaning on most heavily. The Magic V6 supports seamless handoff with iPhone, Mac, AirPods, and Apple Watch alongside Google Gemini integration — positioning it as a productivity device for people already deep in either ecosystem, rather than asking them to switch. A three-month Google AI Pro trial is included at launch.
Roger Li, CEO of HONOR UK, said: "With the HONOR Magic V6, we focused on what truly matters: a natural form factor, trusted durability, and seamless cross-ecosystem productivity. HONOR Magic V6 reflects our commitment to building AI devices that empower people to realise their fullest potential."
The £1,499 launch price is available at Argos, Amazon, Very, and Currys with a gift bundle valued at £549.97. At £1,499 with bundle, HONOR is positioned well below the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, which launched in the UK at £1,749.
