Managed service providers across Germany, Austria and Switzerland can now access Heimdal's cybersecurity platform through a new distribution arrangement with Elovade, extending a collaboration that started in the UK a decade ago and expanded into the Nordic region earlier this year.
The DACH push marks the third regional rollout for the two companies together. Elovade's UK and Ireland presence traces back to Brigantia, which merged into the Elovade group; the Nordic expansion followed in March 2026. For Heimdal, DACH represents a market where the channel already knows the buyer landscape, and where European data sovereignty rules create a persistent competitive angle for vendors with EU-based infrastructure.
Philip Weber, CEO of Elovade, said the Nordics expansion validated the model the two companies had built in the UK. “We have enjoyed a long-standing partnership with Heimdal in the United Kingdom, and recently extended that collaboration into the Nordic markets,” he said. “We’re now bringing that experience into DACH. We understand how to build a successful joint channel offering, and we can support our MSPs and IT service providers with proven strategies and years of channel expertise.”
Heimdal frames the DACH move around a gap it sees widening between attackers, who are accelerating with AI, and defenders often slowed by fragmented toolsets. “AI has made attackers faster. It hasn’t made most defenders faster, because they’re still working across five or six security tools that don’t share data,” said Jesper Frederiksen, CEO of Heimdal. “That gap is exactly what MSPs in DACH are telling us they need closed. Partnering with Elovade means we can put a single platform in front of them, one that consolidates the stack instead of adding to it, so they can actually keep pace with how fast attackers are moving.”
Through the Elovade partnership, DACH-based MSPs get access to Heimdal’s platform across endpoint, DNS, email and Microsoft 365 security, automated patch management, privilege management, and detection and response including managed XDR and threat hunting — all through a single console and vendor relationship.
The European data sovereignty angle matters specifically in DACH, where regulated industries — healthcare, financial services, public sector — increasingly treat EU-resident security data as a procurement filter rather than a preference. Heimdal’s EU-domiciled infrastructure and European ownership are intended to reduce friction at that stage of the sales process.
Heimdal and Elovade will appear together at it-sa Expo & Congress in Nuremberg on 27–29 October, where they plan to introduce the partnership to the broader DACH channel.
