Security teams that struggle to justify separate budget approvals for threat intelligence tooling now have a shorter path to one of the market's more prominent offerings. Group-IB announced this week that its Threat Intelligence platform is available in AWS Marketplace, letting organisations purchase through existing cloud billing relationships and apply the cost against committed AWS spend.
The Singapore-headquartered cybersecurity company, founded in 2003, was named a Leader in Gartner's inaugural Magic Quadrant for Cyberthreat Intelligence Technologies in 2026 — one of five vendors to reach that tier. Its intelligence capability draws on Group-IB's Digital Crime Resistance Centers across five regions and what the company describes as one of the industry's largest cybersecurity data lakes, covering compromised credentials, dark web activity, APT group tracking, and early indicators of threat actor movement.
The AWS Marketplace listing removes a step that procurement teams often cite as friction: buying a threat intelligence subscription outside an existing cloud contract requires a separate approval process and a fresh vendor relationship. Bundling the purchase into an AWS account eliminates both, which Group-IB says shortens the time between decision and deployment.
The intelligence layer operates through Prevyn AI, Group-IB's in-house system that coordinates specialist research agents to run multi-step investigations and return structured findings without manual analyst compilation. The stated goal is to surface warnings early enough that teams can respond before an attack escalates rather than after it lands.
The AWS listing follows Group-IB's Amazon Web Services Financial Software Competency designation, which recognises providers that meet AWS's security and operational standards for financial services customers.
"Attackers are now using AI to speed up reconnaissance, craft convincing lures, and adapt their infrastructure in real time, which compresses the window defenders have to respond," said Dmitry Volkov, CEO of Group-IB. "Waiting for an alert is no longer a viable defense; security teams need intelligence that reaches them fast enough to act before real damage is done."
