Godel has formalised a path through that problem via its new Bronze Partner status in the Databricks Consulting and Systems Integrator Partner Programme.
Godel, the specialist AI and data engineering consultancy, has joined the Databricks Consulting and Systems Integrator Partner Programme at Bronze level. The partnership gives the company a formal route to combine Databricks capabilities — including Lakeflow, Unity Catalog, and Genie — with Godel’s engineering delivery work across enterprise clients.
The announcement is partly about certification and partly about a gap Godel and Databricks are both trying to close. Across UK and European enterprises, significant spending on data platform modernisation and early AI experimentation has produced a backlog of promising pilots sitting just short of production readiness. The blockers are familiar: fragmented data estates, governance embedded late rather than by design, and a disconnect between the technical infrastructure and the business workflows it is supposed to serve.

Unity Catalog provides a unified governance layer across data and AI assets; Lakeflow handles data pipeline orchestration; Genie Ontology and the Genie conversational interface allow business users to query data in natural language without writing SQL. The combination gives Godel’s clients a governance-first architecture to carry from initial model training through to live AI workloads.
Godel has around 900 engineers across offices in Manchester and Krakow. The Databricks partnership is its latest move into the data and AI practice area after earlier work spanning cloud migration and software delivery.
