GBG brings address verification into agentic AI workflows with new Reach agent

On 24 August 2026, GBG, the identity and location technology business listed on the FTSE 250, launched Reach, the first product in its GBG for Agents portfolio. Reach embeds real-time, policy-driven address verification directly inside agentic workflows, starting with IBM watsonx Orchestrate.

The product gives AI agents a confidence score between 0.0 and 1.0, enabling them to act on address data with clear, consistent policy-driven outcomes rather than forwarding unverified inputs downstream. The issue Reach is designed to solve is significant: 40% of enterprise applications are expected to feature task-specific AI agents by end of 2026, yet 80% of organisations cite data limitations as a barrier to scaling agentic AI.

The deployment model is frictionless for existing GBG customers. A Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) arrangement lets organisations activate Reach using their current Loqate API key, bypassing new procurement or security review cycles.

Kartik Venkatesh, Head of Global Innovation at GBG, said: "AI agents are going to orchestrate more and more of the identity and location journey — onboarding, checkout, fulfilment, verification, screening — increasingly driven by multi-agent systems. But somewhere in that chain, someone still needs to make a trusted decision with real data underneath. That's where GBG sits, not replacing the agentic journey, powering it. With GBG for Agents, starting with Reach, we're making our market-leading verification and decisioning capabilities composable, agent-native, and ready to plug into workflows starting today."

Reach is described as the first step in a broader roadmap that will extend to GBG Go and GBG Trust. An early access programme is available at agents.gbg.com/reach.
