Epsilon and Megaport partner to extend software-defined connectivity across United States and Canada

Epsilon Telecommunications and Megaport have announced a partnership to extend Epsilon's network footprint into the United States and Canada. Customers can access Megaport's compute, network and storage infrastructure via Epsilon with software-defined, on-demand connectivity to key data centre, cloud and internet exchange hubs across North America.

The expansion addresses a common friction point for customers growing into North America: establishing reliable, consistent connectivity across US and Canadian markets has previously meant managing separate provider relationships and negotiating distinct local agreements. The partnership lets customers connect their North American locations, cloud environments and data centres under a single interconnection fabric, whether they are scaling domestically or expanding from Europe, Asia-Pacific or other international markets.

The collaboration supports hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, improves content delivery performance with geo-redundant environments across markets, and connects customers to cloud regions across the United States and Canada on demand. North America is expected to account for 43% of a global addressable IT market worth more than US$6 trillion in 2026, according to Omdia.
