Enterprise AI has a data trust problem. Keepit's AI Truth Cloud is the answer.

The new platform reframes backup from a compliance obligation into what Keepit describes as a “trust fabric” for enterprise AI: a verified, sovereign, and immutable data foundation that organisations can demonstrate the integrity of before any AI system ingests it.

The shift reflects a structural gap in how most enterprises run AI today. AI systems typically reason over production data that may be incomplete, tampered with, or simply unaudited. Keepit’s answer is to make its existing backup infrastructure—which already holds a tamper-proof copy of an organisation’s data across every version—the verified source of truth that AI can safely build on.

Three core capabilities form the immediate roadmap. AI Connector Backup extends data protection to AI-specific assets including agent configurations, skills, projects, and models, with point-in-time restore if an agent behaves unexpectedly or is compromised. Keepit MCP is a headless API layer that connects the platform to any AI tool or workflow, allowing AI systems to query, audit, and interact with managed data programmatically rather than treating backup as a passive repository. AI Safe Room addresses the risk of running models directly on live production data by providing an isolated, immutable copy as a safe environment for training, inference, and testing, with full rollback if something goes wrong.

Organised around five pillars—Protect, Observe, Recover, Prove, and Integrate—the platform also introduces an ISV partnership strategy that allows software vendors to embed sovereignty, governance, and immutability capabilities directly into their own products through deep Keepit integrations.

Looking further out, Keepit is building capabilities including AI agent behavioural monitoring, automated compliance evidence generation, cryptographic data provenance, and AI-powered threat rollback.

Keepit is headquartered in Copenhagen with offices and data centres worldwide, serving more than 25,000 companies. The company said AI Truth Cloud is the next frontier made possible by its growing data foundation, not a change of strategic direction.
