DevRev has extended Voice AI into Computer, its agentic AI product, bringing live customer support calls into the same organisational memory graph that already handles chat and email. The announcement comes alongside a broader industry reckoning: a Gartner survey from February 2026 found 91% of customer service leaders under executive pressure to deploy AI, yet only 20% of organisations have reduced agent headcount as a result.
The product's differentiation rests on architecture rather than conversational fluency. Computer builds a continuously synchronised knowledge graph across customer records, support tickets, orders, engineering systems, documentation, and business applications — with existing permissions preserved. Voice AI draws on that graph during a live call, letting the agent reason across systems, trigger corrective workflows, and document actions without a human handoff. When escalation is unavoidable, the full conversation context passes to the human agent so the customer does not start over.
DevRev also announced that Jennifer Heape has joined to lead Voice AI product. Heape previously co-founded and led product at Vixen Labs, an enterprise conversational AI firm.
The company points to Enterprise-Bench results as architecture validation: Computer achieved 94.3% accuracy on the open benchmark while using four times fewer tokens per correct answer than Claude Code on identical tasks using the same underlying model, attributing the gap to its retrieval and reasoning architecture rather than the model itself.
Voice AI connects to enterprise telephony via SIP integration and is available to existing Computer customers without requiring a separate platform deployment.
