Border to Coast Pensions Partnership, which manages around £120bn in assets on behalf of 18 Local Government Pension Scheme funds, has chosen Kocho as its ICT managed services partner on a four-year agreement that went live in September.
The contract covers identity, security, infrastructure, communications, service support, cyber resilience, and data resilience across a Microsoft-based platform. Kocho will also provide on-site support at Border to Coast's Leeds headquarters.
Border to Coast is the largest LGPS pool in the UK, representing over 5,000 employers and two million pension scheme members across funds in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Cumbria, Durham, East Riding, East Sussex, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Surrey, Teesside, Tyne and Wear, Warwickshire and West Sussex.

Hannah Birch, Chief Executive Officer at Kocho, described it as "a long-term partnership built on trust" and said the company was proud to support the organisation's operational security as it scales. The agreement includes options to extend beyond the initial four-year term.
Kocho is a London-headquartered Microsoft security and cloud partner that focuses on identity-led managed services for regulated sectors.
