Blackdot Solutions and Opoint have announced an integration that brings structured news intelligence directly into investigative workflows on the Videris OSINT platform. Opoint's dataset indexes news from over 250,000 sources across 135 languages, producing approximately 3.5 million articles daily, with data delivered via REST API enriched with entity identifiers, topic classification and deduplication.
The practical problem the integration addresses: investigators conducting adverse media screening or enhanced due diligence have historically had to supplement platform searches with separate manual queries across regional and local outlets not covered by international news aggregators. Opoint's coverage of regional and local sources, including those not visible through mainstream international outlets, fills that gap within the Videris workflow rather than requiring a separate lookup.
Videris is used by financial intelligence units, law enforcement agencies, financial services compliance teams and corporate risk professionals for entity mapping, risk analysis and structured reporting with full audit trails. The integration is now live for Videris users.
