Swedish IoT connectivity provider AddSecure has launched a plug-and-play router product aimed at security system installers, bundling pre-configured hardware, managed mobile connectivity and a centralised monitoring dashboard in a package that works independently of the customer's existing network.
The core problem the product targets is installation delay caused by dependence on customer IT teams or manual configuration. Routers ship pre-configured and connected via AddSecure's secure mobile networks, so installers can complete deployments without negotiating access to local infrastructure. Connectivity, device health and SIM management are visible from a single interface; active polling and smart alerts are intended to surface problems before they affect operations.
AddSecure is positioning the product as suitable for security systems, CCTV and access control deployments across retail, hospitality, commercial buildings, residential properties and EV charging infrastructure, where secure connectivity is needed but a site-specific IT integration is impractical.

The solution includes secure remote access, reducing the need for site visits.
