TMS Insight develops PTS5, a barcode-based prescription tracking system used in hospital dispensaries. The software books in prescriptions, records dispensing activities such as clinical checks and label production, and gives real-time status updates to staff and patients via LCD screens or SMS. Modules include electronic prescribing (EPMA), a controlled drugs register, patient self-registration kiosks and a delivery app for porters. Used by the NHS in over 300 UK dispensaries.
