Tech Data to Participate in Microsoft’s IoT in Action Series

Tech Data IoT leader will be part of a panel at first event in Europe

BARCELONA, SPAIN (October 20, 2017) – Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD) today announced that it will attend Microsoft’s “IoT in Action” series as a platinum sponsor, beginning with the European event taking place on October 23 in Leipzig, Germany. The event will be the first in Microsoft’s series of ‘IoT in Action’ events, with close to 700 participants registered.

In Leipzig, Tech Data’s Victor Paradell, vice president, IoT and Analytics Solutions, Europe, will participate in an expert panel discussion presenting a successful IoT solution with Azure that partners can replicate. Partners ranging fromindependent software vendors to system integrators will have the opportunity to meet with IoT solutions aggregators during an afternoon matchmaking session, as well as over evening dinner.

Microsoft’s IoT in Action series invites partners from around the world to learn and collaborate with tech leaders looking to build world-class IoT solutions and accelerate their go-to-market time. Each event is tailored to amplify the value of a solutions aggregator to the IoT ecosystem. The other events in the series will take place in Boston, Tokyo, Seoul and San Francisco between October 2017 and February 2018.
