Self-supervised learning

Machine learning in which a model creates its own training signal from the structure of unlabelled data.

Covers learning in which the model makes its own prediction targets from the data, for example by predicting hidden parts of the input. Finding structure such as clusters with no prediction target is under Unsupervised learning.
