k-anonymity

A privacy model requiring each released record to be indistinguishable from at least k minus one others on identifying attributes.

Covers the formal criterion that each released record matches at least k minus one others, and the generalisation or suppression used to meet it; removing or altering identifiers in general is under Anonymisation.
